Our wedding day, August 12, 2023, was the happiest day of our lives! We got married at The Court Above Main, doing both our ceremony and reception there! We had been together for 6 1/2 years when we got married, and we were thankful to be surrounded by all of our friends and family when we began our married life together. From our vendors who helped our day go off without a hitch to our guests who helped us dance the night away, we are so grateful for how special our wedding day was!
180 Grit · Last year at the La Crosse Wedding Expo, we found 180 Grit. The arches that were on display at the expo were stunning! The entire process of requesting, renting, and coordinating set up/take down was so easy and user-friendly. The arch on our wedding day was beautiful and the quality was great. It made for a perfect backdrop for our head table and pictures later in the evening, as well as a beautiful piece for the background of our ceremony. Daron at 180 Grit was easy to work with, and customer service was responsive and effective!

Emily made sure she understood how we envisioned our day being captured, so she could turn our vision into reality. What shines most in Emily’s work is her ability to capture the genuine emotions in each photograph. As we look back on our pictures, it takes us back to the special moments we shared, and we can’t wait to continue looking back on them in the years to come
The Court Above Main · Searching for a venue was difficult, but once we toured The Court Above Main, we knew we found the right place. From the building’s history in La Crosse, to the original wooden floors, to the floor-to-ceiling windows, to the chandeliers, the venue radiated charm! Beyond the venue, Kelli and Lexi made sure our day operated without a hitch. They guided us through the entire process of documenting our requirements for our wedding day, making sure the venue was decorated in line with our vision, and no question was left unanswered. We really could not have pulled this off without them.
The Wedding Tree · The Wedding Tree was our one-stop shop for all dresses and suits for our wedding! Amy in the suit department went above and beyond from helping us decide what combinations of colors would look best to making sure all suits were ready and perfect on wedding day. Dress shopping for both the wedding dress and the bridesmaid dresses was stress-free and a straightforward process, and the dresses were absolutely stunning! The Wedding Tree did a beautiful job ensuring that all of the dresses were steamed and ready to go the day of the wedding. We felt very lucky that all of the dresses and suits were located in the same place as our venue, which meant all items were stored at The Wedding Tree from purchase to wedding day. The care for our items was high quality and kept our minds at ease!
