Planning for the Sweetest Part of Your Big Day ๐ฐ

Congratulations on your anticipated wedding! Now you get to plan for the "sweetest" part of your day! I love to hear all the ideas could have for their wedding cake or desserts. Working with couples to understand their cake or dessert visions is why I love meeting with couples.
At meetings, I like to bring samples for the couple to take home. Before a meeting, the couple should know if they want cake samples only, or if they are looking for other dessert samples. In the last 2 years, I have done several weddings with a single-tier cutting cake and cupcakes or other desserts for their guests.
There are many choices for your wedding desserts! While having a multiple-tiered cake might be one couples' dream, others may envision single-serving desserts. Sheet cakes are a cost-effective way to have a single dessert for each guest. I mark the pieces on sheet cakes, if that's preferred, and put a piece of fruit, candy bar, or other toppings on each piece. Also, cheesecake, brownies, a variety of bars or cookies, or cupcakes are fun to mix and match for your dessert table! I have many options other than cake!
Knowing if there are any allergies to accommodate is very helpful at cake meetings. It is easy to add a few gluten, vegan, or nut-free cupcakes to an order. I also offer other desserts allergen-free.
It is not necessary to finalize cake servings at our initial meeting. Just having a basic idea of the number of guests you might have will help give an idea of overall cost at a meeting. Once you receive most of your RSVP's, then you can finalize your cake servings and it should be about 2 months before you're wedding!
Things can change so much between our initial cake meeting and your wedding day. Don't be hesitant to contact me with questions about your dessert ideas! Making your dessert special for you, and your special day is my pleasure!
