Real Wedding Review ๐ Melanie + Jack
Our wedding was truly a dream come to life. As my mom told me again and again, I had been planning for a fairy tale wedding since I was three years old. When I found my dream guy I knew it was time to put my plans to use. Jack and I enjoy spending summer on the Mississippi River and we knew we wanted to share that with our family and friends. We held our rehearsal at the bandshell at Riverside Park then took to the water on the La Crosse Queen for a dinner cruise. The La Crosse Center was a perfect choice to bring the River right into the backdrop of our day. After the nuptials we danced the night away with a treat of donuts and pizza. All the vendors as a whole made up our dream team!
From the beginning of our experience looking for venues the La Crosse Center was such a welcoming and accommodating place. The staff from highest management to custodial staff that worked the wedding day were all phenomenal. Danielle Green, the event coordinator always made us feel that our day was just as important to them as it was to us. Our ceremony overlooked the river which was so special to share with our guests. We had around 250 people that fit comfortably in the large beautifully remodeled space.
I spent a lot of time visiting The Wedding Tree during the planning of my wedding. We had the most fun experience with Mel picking out my sparkly dress with a detachable skirt that added more and more and more tulle!! My large wedding party of 10 girls got their dresses at the Wedding Tree too! The staff was so sweet!
Skies the Limit created breathtaking touches that matched what I wanted for my day. It was such a relief being able to depend on Destinee for the centerpieces, ceremony arch, dance floor lighting, and balloon photo backdrop! We were able to spend more time with our guests because she set up and took down her materials!
Wyld Stem was a natural choice to do the flowers for our day. Joceyln's style and modern flair were so complimentary to our vision. I had my bridesmaids in white dresses because I wanted the flowers to be the bold and summery touch! When I saw the art that she created on the morning of the wedding I gasped! The flowers are something that we get compliments on when people talk about our wedding!
We gave The Orange Pearl a big job the morning of our wedding with the number of people needing their services. They took care of every last one of us. Hair stylist, Raul was dedicated to ensuring that my hair was healthy and the way I wanted on my big day!
