Real Wedding Review 💍 Abigail + Jarrett

Our wedding day was everything we dreamed of and more. It was a lovely 70 degree October day. We hosted 130 of our closest friends and family at Myrick Park Center for a BRUNCH wedding. Yes, brunch! We had a 10 AM outdoor ceremony followed by a cocktail hour complete with mimosas, bacon on a stick, and a naturalist showing reptiles to our guests. We had a brunch-style buffet with bundt cakes for dessert. The park grounds outside the venue were the perfect place to host outdoor games afterward. We got so many compliments on how unique and exciting the details of our day were. It was certainly the best day of our lives!
The Nature Place (formerly Myrick Park Center)
Myrick Park Center was the perfect spot for the day we envisioned. Everything was clean, modern, and bright - exactly what we were looking for. The staff were extremely easy to work with and responded quickly and thoroughly to every question and request we had. Though it is located in a public park, they did everything to make our wedding a private and intimate experience. The Center offered many convenient and fairly-priced additional amenities, including a naturalist, who let guests interact with snakes and other reptiles. We also loved knowing that our reservation supported the Wisconsin Conservation Corps!
I was very pleased with my bridal experience at The Wedding Tree. Throughout the process, I felt that I was well-respected, understood, and the dress choices brought to me reflected this. The staff made finding my dress such a fun and effortless experience. The bridal suite was very private and comfortable. We also used The Wedding Tree for dress alterations and suit rentals. Both went smoothly and we were very happy with all of it!
We can’t say enough good things about Destinee. She is so great at what she does. From the moment we met her at Wedding World in 2022, we knew we had to hire her. She made everything leading up to, and the day of, go so smoothly. We went into wedding planning fully anticipating handling everything ourselves, but we cannot imagine not having had Destinee now. She helped us seamlessly bring together all the details, visions, and hopes we had. And throughout the whole process, she felt more like a close friend than a vendor. We are still so amazed with our experience!
DJ Brettly worked hard to give us exactly what we were looking for in a DJ service. He was very responsive and helpful during all pre-wedding communications. He made sure that every detail was covered and thought out. It was great working with DJ Brettly!
