Real Wedding Review 💍 Stacy + Brian
Engaged in 2019, we planned for a big fall wedding in October 2020. We ended up changing our original plans and opted for a much smaller outdoor wedding at Celebrations on the River with close family and our bridal party. Knowing Wisconsin, you can never be sure what mid-October weather will be like, but it ended up being such a beautiful fall day. It was nothing like we initially envisioned but it was everything we could have ever wanted. Our ceremony was intimate, officiated by one of our best friends, and the day was so full of love and light. We rescheduled our larger reception out a year and were fortunate enough to have just celebrated that with all of our family and friends on our one-year anniversary at the same location!
Emily is the most incredible photographer and human. Emily was there to help us through so many of our changes and she made it easy for us to figure out our priority photos and still create a special wedding day experience. Emily and Ben are so fun, made everyone comfortable, and got on really well with everyone. As a bride, it was a relief to me to have Emily there to move things along, keep things fun and make sure we took time to enjoy the special moments. The day goes by fast! The value and quality that Emily brings with her photography for your event are totally worth it. Emily was already booked for our 2021 reception, but she and Ben were able to join us at the end of the night to boogie down on the dance floor!
I always knew I wanted to go to The Wedding Tree to find my dress and it was a positive and stress-free experience. I brought my bridal party, mom, and future mother-in-law with me and we had such a fun time in the large changing room. I wanted a dress with long sleeves and Blaire did an amazing job of helping me find my dream dress, complete with all-over lace, the most gorgeous train, and pockets. I had my alterations done in-house with Kathy and she was fantastic. The Wedding Tree also outfitted Brian, his groomsmen, the father of the groom, and the father of the bride in charcoal grey tuxes. The men all looked sharp and they made it an easy process for the guys to rent and return everything.
We used Lamers’ Trolley for our reception transportation for our anniversary reception. It is such a fun addition to the day and it gave us peace of mind to be able to provide safe transportation for our guests.
We initially booked Brent and Ever After Entertainment for October 2020, but he was super understanding when we wanted to move our reception out a year and made it a seamless process for us. The online profile portal that you fill out makes it super easy to give him our song requests and preferences and detail out the flow of the evening.
We held our wedding here in October 2020 and our reception in October 2021 in Celebrations’ Center Court venue. The venue is stunning. We were married along the river and on a sunny fall day and you couldn’t have asked for a better space. One of the biggest draws for me was their impressive bridal suite at Center Court. I was able to get ready all day and hang with my bridal party in one location. We changed our plans a number of times because of COVID and they were super accommodating. The food for our reception was delicious and it was the most beautiful space. The fire pit was going outside, all of the twinkle lights in the backyard. It was magical.
