Real Wedding Review π Anna + Billy
We got married June 5, 2021, after a 5-month engagement. Our wedding Mass was at Blessed Sacrament Church surrounded by our loving friends and family. It really was what you call a perfect day. There was abundant sunshine, warm weather, and a gentle breeze all day. Our friends and family had come in from all over the country to witness and celebrate our big day. Our cute pup Louie even made an appearance for some photos. After having been a bride, start to finish, I now understand why they call it the perfect day. I got to marry my best friend and love of my life surrounded by all the people that love us the most. Thatβs pretty perfect if you ask me.
The Wedding Tree made finding my dress fun, intimate, and easy. My mom Ann, sister Melanie, and little niece Vivian were there to help and provide plenty of laughter. We loved the atmosphere of the private bridal room upstairs. I tried on a couple of dresses, all different styles, and then the right dress came along... the only answer was YES! They stored the dress for me, and it was so convenient to have my alterations done by Sarah at the Wedding Tree.
Jordana Snyder and her husband Wes made the day run smoothly with a timeline keeping us on track and energy like you wouldnβt believe. We stopped at Riverside Park and then out to Mt La Crosse for the rest of the day. Jordana and Wes were amazing with the kids in our party and truly went the extra mile. Our photos turned out so bright and happy! I canβt recommend them enough.
Our reception was held at Mt. La Crosse. We rented several tents and a dance floor from Nelson Tents and our families set everything up. We used both the ski lodge for catering set up and bar access. Mt La Crosse was able to get Purple Rain from Pearl Street Brewery which was a big hit for our cider fans (me included!). We both love nature, being outdoors and dancing, so as you can imagine, the venue was perfect.
Our gorgeous flowers were from Cottage Floral. They were attentive, creative, and worked hard to find the combination I was imagining. I was set on having anemones and she found them! They delivered the flowers to the church and venue along with setting everything up for us. They really took the stress off the whole process, and it was clear we were a priority to them.
