Real Wedding Review 💍 Allyse + Nathan
As soon as we got engaged during June 2021 on vacation in Savannah, we could not wait to join our lives in marriage. We thought about rushing to the courthouse due to our excitement and knew that we wanted something small and did not need the glitz and glamour of a big celebration - all we needed was each other. Of course, quickly in sharing the news with our loved ones we had to have them involved because our family and close friends have supported us and helped mold us into the people we have become. When I walked in the venue to preview it before the celebrations began, I was amazed by all the details that came together. It truly blew me away. From the flowers to the linens on the table every vendor and creator at The Court Above Main made our dream day come true for our happy ever after.
A micro-wedding was the ultimate blessing for us as it met every box we wanted checked for our big day! We wanted a small guest count and did not want to deal with the fuss of planning the details. We just wanted to show up on our day to party and take it all in. This is exactly what the Court above Main offered, and what Kelli was able to provide in her organization of the details and communicating with our wonderful vendors. We could just sit back and enjoy the ride! Working with the vendors was very seamless, as I had direct access to them when needed to set up our meetings to review our menu, floral, music, etc. However, I also could depend on Kelli to communicate on my behalf that saved me much time and stress. I was thrilled to work with vendors that I was already familiar with in our community and knew they were great choices.
As soon as Mel got me into the dress that caught my eye, it fir me perfectly off the rack and had everything I was looking for. When I walked out of the dressing room, the faces of the ladies who went with me lit up and we all knew it was that “say yes to the dress” moment we all hope to have.
I love the beauty of flowers however am clueless when it comes to the many varieties that exist. When I met with Rose, I was anxious at first because I did not know how to explain the vision of the floral decor I had in my mind. However, even with the little descriptions I was able to share, she was able to provide recommendations and guide the conversation and help customize the floral pieces to fit the needs of our unique wedding experience.
We worked with Pogy’s Catering from Pogreba Restaurant as our caterer that has been a favorite we have frequented over the years. They do an exceptional job with creative menu items, and their catering team provides excellent service which is always attentive and goes above and beyond in the details.
Teagan was much more than a photographer and having her husband along doing the videography made the day seem like we were hanging out with friends as we shared in laughter. Of course, the experience was amazing working with their team - but most importantly, they captured the moments we want to hold onto forever. Reliving the day a million times is the best feeling in the world.
